established in 2008
Keuka Brewing Company is an award-winning, small-batch craft brewery located overlooking beautiful Keuka Lake in Hammondsport, NY. It's a family-run business led by owner, Rich Musso and his son, head brewer, Mark Musso.
Opening their doors in 2008, KBC was the first micro-brewery on Keuka Lake and one of the first in the western Finger Lakes region. The brewery creates some of the most unique and forward-thinking brews in the region, like Local Mocha Stout, Afterburner Habañero Ale and Ghost of Rita Gose.
As an entrepreneur and artist founder, Rich Musso, opened the brewery at a time when only wineries dominated the landscape and the shift toward craft beer had not yet made its appearance in the Finger Lakes. Rich was a home brewer for years before getting serious about his craft.
"My goal was to create unique and exciting beer as an alternative to the wine industry. We wanted to give consumers a choice that complimented their regional tasting options for incredible wines. Great beers are not so different from great wines." -Rich
After living in Washington D.C. and making a career switch, head brewer, Mark Musso, joined his father in 2010 determined to make outstanding beers of the highest quality and integrity.
"I strive to create innovative beers that I enjoy drinking and avid beer drinkers will enjoy too. I like to push the boundaries of beer styles to excite and surprise consumers, to continue bringing them back to the Keuka Brewing brand." - Mark
Rich, Mark and the whole team behind Keuka Brewing invite you to stop by or pick up one of their beers to try yourself. You'll find that with our beers there's no compromising on quality and innovation.
